Is ReadyResume.ai really free?
Yes, completely free. We use AI to help job seekers without charging them. Future Pro features will be optional add-ons, but core resume building, AI generation, templates, scoring, and tracking will always be free.
How does the AI work?
We use Claude (by Anthropic) — one of the most advanced AI models available. It analyzes your background, the target job, and writes professional bullet points tailored to that specific role.
Will my resume pass Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)?
Yes. All our templates use clean structures that ATS scanners can parse. We also score your resume against ATS standards and suggest improvements.
Can I edit the AI-generated content?
Absolutely. After generation, you can click any text in your resume and edit it directly. You can also regenerate sections or rewrite from scratch.
How do I download my resume?
Click "Download PDF" on your resume page. It will save a clean, print-ready PDF to your device.
Can I share my resume without making someone log in?
Yes. Click "Share" to generate a public link. Anyone with the link can view your resume — no login or signup required.
How do I import an existing resume?
On your dashboard, click "Import resume". Paste the text of your current resume and our AI will parse it and rebuild it in our system.
What if I need help or find a bug?
Email us at hello@readyresume.ai or use the contact page. We typically respond within 24 hours and we genuinely want to fix what's broken.
Do you store my data securely?
Yes. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and we follow industry-standard security and authentication practices.
Can I delete my account and all data?
Yes. From your dashboard go to Profile → Delete account. We permanently remove all your data within 30 days.
Do you train AI on my resume?
No. Your resume content is never used to train AI models. We only use it to generate your specific resume and cover letters.
Will there be more templates?
Yes! We add new templates based on user requests. If you want a specific style, contact us.
